Synopsis Edit

Every Christmas, the Powell family, a bit of a large and close-knit family, would gather at Grandpa Henry and Grandma Dorothy Powell's rather large, almost mansion, house and celebrate the holidays. One Christmas, all the younger kids decided to play hide-and-go-seek and since it was a large house, there were a lot of places to hide. After almost an hour, all the kids were found, except for 4-year-old Jimmy. After searching some more, the kids alerted the adults and everyone searched the house from top to bottom, but no one found Jimmy.

After more searching, the family began to get scared and they eventually called the police. For weeks and weeks the police searched, but found absolutely no trace of Jimmy. Months passed and eventually, the family decided to give up searching for him.

Five years later, Henry and Dorothy decided to clean and spruce up the house and get rid of some of their old things to make room for more family members since a few members got married and had children. While three of the older grandchildren were cleaning the attic, 19-year-old Stacey found an old trunk and opened it up out of curiosity, but screamed at the top of her lungs when she saw what was inside.

Inside the trunk was Jimmy's rotting body.

Five years earlier, Jimmy had decided to hide in the trunk, but accidentally closed it all the way so it locked and he could not get out. He pounded and scratched for a long time, screaming for help, but eventually suffocated.

Variations Edit
